Dr. Zimmermann graduated from Kansas City University - College of Osteopathic
Medicine in 1987, subsequently completing a Family Practice (FP) Residency in
1989 and a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency in 1992.
Dr. Zimmermann holds currently holds Board Certification in FP and previously
held PM&R certification with Pain Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, Spinal Cord
subspecialty certifications. During and after his PM&R residency, Dr. Zimmermann
also underwent additional training in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Zimmermann
further underwent advanced training in Acupuncture and Homeopathic Medicine,
completing the UCLA Medical Acupuncture for Physicians Course in 1998 and
the CEDH Clinical Homeopathy Training Course in 2014. Dr. Zimmermann also
has advanced knowledge and expertise in Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine
(PRM), having attended multiple clinical training seminars/courses offered by the
American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine
(member since 1999) and having routinely used PRM techniques in his clinical
practice.
